Corbett-Test mit gezielten Münzen – Münzmanipulation

The Corbett Targeted Coin Test Box is used to assess palm-to-fingertip manipulation (In-Hand Manipulation IHM).
In the test, one has to move coins from the palm to the fingertips. Then one has to insert these coins into different slots. These are positioned in different directions: vertically, horizontally and diagonally.
The test requires more complex visual-motor skills and proprioception than regular pen tests.
The speed and quality of movement are measured.
It provides a good overview of the manipulation movements required for various ADL activities: coins, earrings, buttons...
