Adjust a rollator
A rollator gives the user freedom of movement. Walking is easier due to the extra support that the tool provides when moving. When the rollerator is adjusted at the right height, it gives optimal support and reduces the risk of falling.
ROLLATOR HIGHLY INSTINCT
The rollator is set by the handles. The user of the rollator must be placed in a normal textured position between the handles and it is important to ensure that the user is as upright as possible. Let your arms hang around the body. For optimal use and good height of the roller the handles should come out at wrist height.
Adjust a rollator
- Stand upright behind the rollator and between the roller handles

- Relax the arms and adjust the handles at the height of the wrist

- Secure the handles so they do not fall back at pressure
- Make sure the feet stay between the rear wheels at all times

ROLLATOR DISTANT
The reference when adjusting the rollator is normal running. The rollerator is a supporting tool. When the user leans too much, it automatically starts rolling harder which creates the wrong posture. Walking should be relaxed, cramping the rollators can cause complaints and pressure in other parts of the body.
A LOT OF PREVENTIONS IN THE ESTIMATING OF A ROLLATOR
In many cases the rollator is too high set. The arms are held at 90 degrees. By adjusting the rollerator too high there is not enough support and the effect of the support is completely gone. The rollerator is rarely too low adjusted, but results in a bent forward position with a lot of pressure on the wrists.
Not all rollers come to a certain height. To order a roller, measure the height up to the wrists. This way you avoid a wrong purchase.
