There are hundreds of types of toilet brackets, so the right ones are not always easy.
What should I think about when choosing a good toilet bracket?

1) The length of the bracket
Let's start with the essence: you want extra support left, right or both sides of your toilet.
Take a seat on the toilet and try to determine the ideal push position with your hands. Then measure the distance from the wall to which you wish to attach the bracket up to this push-up position.
So you know the minimum length of your toilet bracket, specifically for your needs
For your information: brackets usually go 70-90cm in length.
2) The wall of the inner wall itself
Too often an underrated point: the quality and type of the wall.
Concrete? No problem, but look for a solid drill.
Bricks? No problem. Please check that the bracket is drilled deep enough. Especially for older homes. Also use a plug
Very small bathroom tiles? Suction cups certainly are not indicated, the older the tiles, the more mature the joints and the higher the chance that the tiles will come loose when the force is put on the bracket.
Bathroom tiles? This means: the suction cup can be attached to the tile itself without going over a joint? OK, both can be bored and with suction cup.
Limestone or Squarer? Go for a toilet bracket with sturdy, deep drilled fijs. Limestone can peel off or crumble after the years.
-Stop plate or Gyproc? Suction cups are chosen above drilled toilet brackets as these walls consist of 1 piece, and often are too thin to allow a drilling of the toilet bracket.
Solid wood? No problem. Both drilled solutions and toilet brackets on suction cup are an option.
Chipboards or OSB plates? Like a drywall: Suction cups are chosen over drilled toilet brackets.
3) The bracket itself
The material varies from plastic to aluminum. Here your personal taste is especially important. Aluminium will usually be a little more expensive but also looks better and is more durable.
Furthermore, you can also take a look at the rounding of the bracket: Some find it less pressing on the palms of the hands when the bracket has an oval shape. Most are usually round. The premium brand Ropox offers a solution with their oval shape, softer for the palm of the hand and at the same time a very nice design.
