Fine motor skills: 20 tips for home

Before we go, some general tips:
- Start with activities that your child is already quite capable of.
- When your child is ready, you choose activities that are a little more difficult.
- Give a lot of compliments!
- Don't react angry or irritated if something doesn't work out so well.
- Repeat often. By repeating the activity your child will slowly but surely be able to improve.
- Do activities with your child, that's fun and your child can cheat on the art.

What can you do to your child to develop his fine motor skills?
- Colors
- Beads Ring

- Cut
- Company games: Four in a row, fleas game, Jenga, Mikado
- Marble
- Feel games: recognize objects under a tea towel
- With a tweezers pick up small clots
- Puzzling
- Ironing beads
- Create shadow figures with your hands
- Drawing, and of course: write
- Brush your own teeth (do re-brush).
- Comb hairs yourself.
- Help in the kitchen with table covers, dishes, breaking beans, turning bottles open and shut, pouring cup yourself, smearing bread yourself
- Bake cookies or bread (making the dough yourself), decorate cake slice
