Testimonial of an intern

Who am I?

I'm Astrid George, a student of the Handelsengineering at KU Leuven, department of Kortrijk.^e The year of our bachelor's programme we get the opportunity to participate in the experience program. This means that the student does an internship at a company and then develops a business project. Home care Webshop immediately addressed me, so I chose them and she for me. :)

How did I experience my internship at Home Care Webshop?

Very good! Nicolas and David involved me in many areas, that way it was very interesting for me! I've met several departments in the company: business development, online marketing and the logistics side. A day of Utrecht was also in there, as the Webshop Vakdagen fair went on. You will hear it; never boring so.

This diversity is nice, but the main reason I enjoyed doing the internship was Nicolas and David.Young, innovative, open-minded entrepreneurs! Nothing is as important as your colleagues, employees and employees. They gave me freedom and sent me where necessary. We shared our ideas and made so much progress. I learned a lot from them.

What are the benefits of working at Home Care Webshop?

- In a startup you get more say in than in a large company where all lines are already defined. Your creative ideas can be shared and implemented if they are good. 

- Home Care Webshop works at a place where other startups are settled, namely in Start it @kbc in Kortrijk. This creates a nice atmosphere on the workplace.  

You can contribute to different departments, as the departments are not yet huge. This way you create a broad view of things.
