Push-Ortho-Knöchelorthese Aequi Junior

The Push ortho Ankle Brace Aequi Junior (in short: Aequi Junior) offers a good balance between effective mechanical support and wearing comfort in the event of a (sub)acute or chronic ankle injury in children aged 6 to 12 years (shoe size of approximately 30-36) . The Aequi Junior stabilizes the ankle joint during both inversion and eversion, in neutral and flexed positions. Both dorsiflexion and plantar flexion remain sufficiently free to walk normally. The brace functions optimally when worn in a sturdy (laced) shoe. The shell, which forms the basis of the brace, provides the right support for the ankle in a simple and comfortable way. Cross bands made of non-elastic material provide adequate mechanical support while elastic bands provide proper compression. INDICATIONS

• Acute ankle ligament injury: both in- and eversion trauma
• Stabilization of conservatively or surgically treated ankle fractures
• (Residual) instability
• Secondary prevention of ankle ligament injuries
