What is it?

The personal assistance budget (PAB) is a pilot project, which is intended for disabled people and is intended to organise and pay the assistance they need every day.

With the PAB they can pay one or more assistants who help the disabled person with daily activities such as getting up, washing, preparing food, cleaning, both at home, at work and in leisure. The assistant can also accompany a person with disabilities or someone from his surroundings in everyday life.

The personal assistance budget shall be allocated annually and the budget allocated shall be determined on the basis of the needs of the beneficiary.
